Privacy policy
This site is about the novel Hunting the Red Fox and its author. It has no accounts, forms, shopping cart or mailing list, and it does not collect personal information from visitors.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies or store any information in your browser.
Analytics and tracking
We do not use analytics, tag managers, tracking pixels, advertising scripts or social media widgets.
Third-party content
All fonts, images, video and scripts are served from this domain. Nothing is loaded from other companies, so no third party is notified when you visit.
Links to other sites
This site links to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Books-A-Million and Audible, to publications that have reviewed or interviewed the author, to a podcast, and to the book’s Facebook page. Nothing from those sites loads until you follow a link. When you do, the site you visit may see that you came from here, and its own privacy policy applies.
Email links open your own mail program; nothing is sent through this website. Messages go directly to the author, who reads them himself and keeps them only as ordinary correspondence. Your address is used only to reply to you.
Hosting
This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard request information, such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type, in order to deliver the site. This is covered by Vercel’s own privacy policy. We do not collect, store or review this information, and Vercel’s optional analytics features are not enabled.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because this site does not track visitors, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We honor both by default. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Children
This site is written for adult readers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child has emailed us, a parent or guardian can ask us to delete that message.
Your rights
The only personal information we ever hold is an email you choose to send us. You can ask to see it, to correct it or to have it deleted at any time by writing to the address below, and we will do so within 30 days. These rights apply wherever you live, including under California, other U.S. state and European privacy laws.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. If the site ever begins collecting information it does not collect today, this page will say so before it happens.
